Nwachukwu Mac-Anthony Ikenna of Leige of Hearts said
Nwachukwu Mac-Anthony Ikenna of Leige of Hearts has advised individuals in high-profile relationships to prioritise privacy and intentional healing following a publicized breakup.
“For people who experience things like this (public breakup), it's a bit of a struggle because of social media. Even when they want to just sort things out for themselves, social media in-laws are in their faces to know everything about them,” he told Legit.ng.
According to him, the best approach is to step back, seek counselling, and focus on personal growth before returning to the public space.
“It's important that they don't just relegate everything and cower into oblivion," he said.
Speaking on why many celebrity relationships fail, Ikenna emphasised the importance of truly understanding a partner before marriage.

“Marriage is not a show, it's serious business. People should actually do well to get to know who they are dealing with before they say 'I do’.”
He also cautioned against oversharing relationships on social media, as it often invites unnecessary scrutiny and pressure.
For those whose content revolves around their life, Ikenna advised extra caution in choosing a life partner to avoid becoming the subject of online gossip.
“I have seen celebrities who separate their marriage from social media, and it works perfectly for them," he added
